A preview gallery of the work is available here. For any inquiries about the this project including prints and exhibition opportunities please get in touch directly through the Contact page.
My new documentary project about majorette teams in Italy has just begun. Stay tuned for updates and the first edits of the work. It will feature a fresh documentary photo series and a multimedia project about the incredible value of dance, music, friendship and self expression for women and girls in the context of big and small towns Italy. in If you're an editor or a magazine interested in running the story or assigning a specific series, please get in touch.
So, to end 2013 with a joyful work twist, I made a newsprint foodie magazine with my mum - because she's a veggie chef and I love newsprint, that is - and, long story short: we had great fun, people went berserk over it, all copies were sold out on the release night and our amazing printer Newspaper Club of London also picked it as the Paper of the Month for December 2013. Check out some pictures below of our issue #1 and the lovely blog post by Newspaper Club and the full PDF. Issue #2 is out in March. I love life, I guess? #happy2014 is really happy.

I am really happy of having been selected as a participant of FRESH! Young Italian Photographers. For a whole year, I will have the chance of developing a photo project under the guidance of some really ace people in the industry, whose work I deeply respect and love. It's a one-of-a-kind opportunity in Italy, where not much is done to promote and showcase the work of young emerging photographers, so kudos to YarT for making it possible & all my gratitude for picking my project proposal. Check out the amazing team of tutors & students: this is going to be fun! and I will keep you posted.

Exploring life in Prato's controversial Chinatown, a small and densely populated area hosting one of the largest Chinese communities of the country.
Tongs are a exp rock band from Italy: we met in April as they opened for Il Teatro Degli Orrori, one of the most successful indie rock bands in the country. Here's their video interview with Pierpaolo Capovilla, frontman for Il Teatro Degli Orrori and featured on a track of Tongs' debut album. The video was published by Rolling Stone Italy, check it out (Italian only - sorry).
