The small villages of Sant'Andrea and Pieve di Compito, in the province of Lucca (Tuscany) are home to some very special inhabitants: hundreds of camellia trees and plants, that flourish in the special climate of these ancient towns. Sant'Andrea and Compito have made the preservation and the study of the camellia flower their main activity and once a year open their ancient garden and villas to swarms of tourists and visitors coming from all over the world.
